Hi,

I’m Afieqah and she’s Fatin. And together, we’re fkziha and fkziha would like to say hi and welcome. So this should be our first post right. And there’ll be more to come. Ready? Haha.

But, I would like to call this as an introduction. Here’s why. We’re off to London, or should I say Nottingham for two weeks together (starting from 9/11 - 24/11). And so, the mastermind behind all of this, Afieqah has been planning on sharing our oh-so-called adventure together. Yup, and this site was born.

Catch us later. We will try our best to share some photos and maybe others. Last but not least, we see ya when we see ya.

Love,

Afieqah & Fatin

Our mind cannot stop viewing this photo. Ooh, London.

___________________________________________________

No, we haven’t gone there yet. Just taking some photos of us wearing the jackets a.k.a berangan. Talking about excited.

The day has come.

Today is the day. And our heart are a bit tingly and maybe, jumpy. Oh, of course. Like I said before, today is the day.

But still, we woke up a little late. Fatin especially. Maybe because she was too excited and having a sleeping problem. Haha. Then, we pack some more stuff such as my toothbrush.

I believe that we need to get to KLIA by 12 as the flight is on 3 or 4 o’clock. And by now, we still haven’t took our morning bath. *phew. Smelly us. Except for ayah of course. What’s more? I can’t find Kak Nad’s Joe’s pants. Come on. I wanna wear it. Ok then. That’s all for now.

The next post would probably from Nottingham. Haha. I wonder if I can survive the 12 hours journey on that airplane. *pfft. Ok, ok. Check list.

  • Breaking Dawn - check
  • Maine Squeeze - check
  • A Walk To Remember - check
  • mp3 - check

Look at how many books. Well, people just can’t never leave without books. And I’m doubting about bringing along Mr. Bibo. Aww

Sincerely,

Afieqah Kaz.

The day our feet step on the ground

We are really really sorry. We haven’t post anything since the day we arrived. So, here’s a quick review.

The flight was good. Fatin has nothing to do except for listening to her mp3 while, I was reading A Walk To Remember all over again. Too bad I can’t bring along Breaking Dawn because of it’s heaviness. Boo, right? Ayah was falling for sudoku. Haha. And the meals was pretty nice but not da-Bomb. You know, airplane food. We were served with Nasi Bukhari and Nasi Lemak. Too bad, no chicken lasagna or pasta. Haha.

We arrived 45 minutes earlier than what we expected. No storm or any technical complications. Alhamdulillah. Thinking of having a little stroll around the airport but nah, there’s really nothing. Except for ayah buying a new sudoku book. Like I said before, he’s falling for it.

The bus to Nottingham was scheduled at 12 midnight so we have to wait for another 2 hours. My eyes are killing me and I’m freezing as the temperature was 3 degrees Celsius. Every time we open our mouth our breathe out, fog came out of your mouth or nose and awesome! Until at last, the bus. Yay! The bus driver was a woman. That’s not something that you can see everyday.

It was a very long journey but thank goodness the bus was warm and cozy. It took about 4 hours to get to Nottingham. The first thing that came out of mind the moment I look out the window, “Ah, yes. This is London, not USA. Bricks and more bricks”. And the last stop, Nottingham. We wait a little bit longer for Abang Dzul. And there’s the car.

When we reached Kak Hidayah’s house, I goes, “Ah, bricks. London’s way.” We had a little chit chat before BOOM! sleep properly. I tell you what, I’m freezing like I never freeze before, of course. That’s all. To be continued …

Love,

Afieqah.

Comparing the price

First impression : Oh My God!

Why?

Went to the ASDA supermarket

So?

Cheap cheap cheap stuffs.

For example?

iPod Touch, magazines, books, DVDs, and almost everything. Except for the fact that,

What?

You can only find it cheap if you close one eye. Don’t even think about converting it. But still, some of ém are still cheap. The word of the day ; CHEAP!

From the bottom of our heart, we envy these peoples who lives here.

XOXO,

Fatin & Afieqah.

Among the main reasons why we’re here. Oooh~

* * *

You guys might be wondering why I post all of this stuffs. Well, all of this was originally posted on a Tumblr account that I created last year. It was supposed to be our holiday trip online journal. Yeah, stuff like that. But it didn't really work out. And since I'm handling another account, I know I shouldn't have left all of this hanging. I'm planning on deleting it. I know it going to hurt but, it's kind of for my own good. Knowing that I don't want to erase it permanently, I copy all of the posts and paste it here. In memories of littleusfly.tumblr.com. All that's left now is this and a faint memory of the page. I swear that my heart is crying *sniff*. Nottingham, London, Paris, I miss you. From the bottom of my heart.
xoxo,
Your once tourist.

United Arab Emirates

Our oh-so-called magic carpet.

I gave you a little sneak peek earlier. And since I'm too lazy to write in paragraph, I'll just do a little Q&A. Maybe not a little but still, yeah, you know. Here it goes.

Q: How long were you in Dubai?
A: Hmm, from 7th - 13th December. About a week. Or is it exactly?

Q: With whom did you go there with?
A: Ibu and kak Nad. Just the three of us. But ibu went there one day earlier.

Q: Which airline did you choose? Economy, business or first class?
A : Emirates. And of course, economy class. I'm saving business class for my honeymoon trip :P
Or maybe first class *wink*

Q: How was Emirates?

A: Oh, it was wonderful. I love the little screen on the front seat so much. No wonder it was announced as the The World's Top 10 Airlines.

Q: Was it your first time in Dubai? Did you get lost?

A: Yes, it is my first time and yes, I did get lost at the Dubai International Airport. Haha. It was very confusing.

Q: So, for the whole week, where did you stay?

A: At Emirates Accommodation.

Q: Ada pergi jalan-jalan? Mesti adakan? Bagitahulah pergi mana!

A: Eh? Haha. Budak gedik dah datang :P

Q: Haha. Wait, you haven't answered the question above. I'm sorry, this is not a question -..-
A: We didn't stay home much. I think. But we do went to lots of places. The Global Village, Dubai Mall, Mall of Emirates, Al-Ain, The Atlantis -just to take a few photos-, Dubai Museum. Hehe.

Q: Tell me, what is your favourite moment?

A: Too many. But for now, I can only think about Candylicious. Gosh, I had a sort of frenzy when I saw jelly beans, Wonka, Hershey's. Boy-o-boy! The Dubai Mall was real fun!

Q: Did you buy lots of souvenirs? How's the price?
A: We did buy quite a lot. But not too many. Or is it? Well, I did buy a little souvenir for a few friends. I hope they will love it. Honestly, I'm not that good with buying souvenirs. Haha. I was like, "I'll leave it to you Ibu" or "Help me decide!" The price was ka-boing! Ex-pen-sives! Thank goodness we don't have to convert that much. Sigh.

Q: Do you miss Dubai?
A: Yes. By the moment when I went out of KLIA. Really I do.

Q: Wait! One more question. Or maybe not. Can you now, like, speak Arabic?

A: A bit. Not very fluent but I did manage to refresh what I've learn before by reading the movie subtitles.

Q: When you're not going anywhere, what did you do?

A: Movies. Lot's of 'em. I even manage to did a movie marathon. Haha. I guess I watch too much movie for the whole week. Titanic, Camp Rock 2, The Little Mermaid, Shrek The Third, you name it.

Q: Any last word?

A: Haha, sure. Someone, please take me overseas again *wink*

Q: How was I? Was it good? Sigh. I'm pretty nervous just now.
A: Stop it! You're actually interviewing yourself you know. Hahaha.

7 days of hols.

Too many things to do, too little times given. Will I survive?

Okay, clearly I haven't post anything since . . . the last time I post something. I guess I was too busy weeping and crying until I barely able to breathe. That was one embarrassing thing. Move on move on!

Saturday, went to a wedding then Melaka later blast off to Johor. And aww, Aqmar dah pandai reverse ke belakang. Comel je. Macam ulat bulu.

Sunday, gone to Singapore. Went to a wedding, then Courts later home. Wow, my dad speaks DSLR, Canon and Nikon. Ceh, ayah dah maju ;D

Monday, waking up in Johor. Fatin came along. We paint two rooms sampai tangan melecet. I don't know how. By night, we ate gooood at Senibong. Once, I had a nightmare there. Trust me, you don't want to know.

Tuesday, balik KL. Honestly, I feel sad, leaving our house in Permas Jaya. Every single time, mesti macam tu. Ye lah, rumah pertama Afieqah an. And like finally, finished Biarkan Saja.

Wedneday, got one emergency message from Amira. 'Wangsa Walk jom. Tengok wayang and pergi karaoke.' Ha'ah emergency lah sangat -.-' Tapi pergi juga. Spent a little too much money there. RM8 for the movie tickets, RM4 for karaoke. But at Popular fuhh! Went around and around and around and bought 3 books needed for study. And a novel *wink* Later, in my next post.

Thursday, I cooked among the best kubis goreng! Booyah! And yeah, got a surprise visit from Pak Ndak and Mak Ndak satu family. And by the whole family including Haziq. Haha. But I spent most of the time in my room. Shy *pfft* Whoa, Haziq dah tinggi lah sekarang. Suara pun dah *cough* pecah. Hehe. Baby face pun dah nak hilang. Hm, am I actually writing this just to make Amira jealous? No, she's already got her Tom Felton and a few others fictional novel characters.

Friday a.k.a today. Just got back from the National Library. I prefer to remain silence about this.

To sum it up -quoting Prof. Ross Geller- I need more sparks from this holiday. I mean, come on! Anyhoo, hope you have a wonderful holiday. Lucky some of you people *sigh*

Wait! Don't leave yet. Just one more thing. Fifa World Cup. Wooo! Since when Afieqah? No, I'm no fan of football but Nottingham Forest? I'm a supporter.

Boredom strikes, OUCH!

Such a random photo of my MySpace profile.

Yeah, I'm alone and unorganised. It's pretty freaky to have someone around me right now.

Things, and by things I mean life didn't work out pretty well. Heck I need a mate. Gasping for love and dying of loneliness. Had a movie marathons but nahh, I don't feel anything. Ok, why am I sounding so emo-ish. Not good.

This holiday may not be da' bomb. But I have to admit it is a bomb. It's killing most of us. With homeworks and studies and non-stop lectures by our parents -thank goodness my parents are not around for this few days- Dude, I'm bored. I repeat, I'm bored. Oh for your information, I haven't finished any of my homeworks. Not a good song to be listened right now ; Time is Running Out by Muse. I love that song but it just makes me want to cry and it stabs my heart with regrets. Maybe it is the perfect song to get my ass move.

Currently reading : Tangled Up In You by Rachel Gibson

Trust me, my heartbeat is not stable when I read it. Nice job.

P/S: I AM bored!

Besok kita dah mula cuti kan, mesti nanti aku rindu kau.

Peribahasa of the day : Dengar guruh di langit, air di tempayan dicurahkan.

Why is there suddenly a peribahasa? There's something that I can relate to the peribahasa. I'll tell about it later.

P/S : While I'm writing this post, I am STILL wearing my school uniform.

I just love how today flows. It began with suspense, followed by hurried, then luck but ended up like a fairytale. Almost fairytale actually. Like any other school day, it was cramping with homeworks and chores etc. But say no more marker pens, whiteboards or teachers for nine days. Ooh, our teacher are sneaky and nice. They cannot stop giving. Wait, they cannot stop giving us homework. So the word nice, needed to be reconsider.

How can I forgets to scream this word out loud? Happy-o Holidays. But hey, you! Happy LOL-idays. Boo!

Lots of things coming ahead, besides the homework of course. Movies, novels, sleepovers and perhaps, guitar? Haha, I'm literally screaming right now. (Actually, she is not. Her expression is blank but she's trying to 'klentong' other people) Now, back to the future. No sorry, today.

I had a long heart-to-heart talk with Amira. Then everything went upside down. I asked for her help to help me to forget him. She said NO! I was like "why?". Then she starts a calculation. She estimate that 60% of me wanted to say yes and the rest is no. Then it changed to 65% and bla... bla... bla.. Amira, you're not helping. You just make things worst.

I stay a oh-so-called little late at school. I send a little note to Izyan ; "Balik ni jom beli ice-blended." I know, I haven't spend some quality time with her lately. To my surprised, she wait for me. Not really that surprised lah. Then we walk and chit chat and walk some more and ah, the "back gate". Did you remember about the previous incident? Today, it's a bit different. As I was walking with Izyan and Atiqah, we we're blocked. Suddenly, I cannot think of anything. Terus menggelabah. "Kenapa semua macam tengah block ni kan?" Thank you Afiq, akhirnya you gerak jugak an. I walk for about two steps than stop. There's a skinny twig that's about to hit me right on the face. Hah! And here comes my habit ; making faces. Weird faces. And he laughed. *Grr*

Then, we got our ice-blended and make a long round turn back to school's front gate. Met Amira who was left, by her van again. We we're like a non-stop talking machine. And oh Izyan, I'm touched, again :) It is another 'the' day. I just wish it could last longer.

Yeah, I've watched the Eclipse trailer and I'm craving for more. I'm turning jelly-like. Too bad, the new Victoria's hair is we-ee-ird. *shivers*

My parents are about to take Rayyann home tonight. Hip hip, HOORAY!

Yeah, we were sitting and talking and talking and sharing. But bigger.

You're amazing. Enough said,
